My sister went to Boston at the weekend and bought me some more Thai ingredients.
I wanted to cook Thai but needed a few more ingredients so I went to the Oriental Supermarket in Chatham, supermarket is a bit of an over exaggeration, it's more of a corner shop but it is well stocked.
I found these lovely prawns there and a bargain at £4.95.
So what to do with them? I decided to cook a recipe by Ching He Huang of Sichuan Prawns which is in her book, Ching's Chinese food in minutes and is one of my favourites. This is a picture of how it turned out

- Sweetcorn fritters
- Duck in Tamarind sauce

- Pad Thai Noodles
- Roast red pork
- Pork with holy basil with Thai omelettes
