Sweet and Sour Pork


A great low calorie alternative to Chinese takeaway - Only 260 calories (exc rice)

 
 
You will need:
 
450g of pork fillet
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
1 tbsp sesame oil
1tbsp corn flour
3 cloves garlic
5 spring onions
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 small tin pineapple chunks in juice
chopped coriander
 
Serves 4
260 calories per portion
 
 
Method:
 
Slice the pork thinly and place in a bowl with the light soy, rice wine, sesame oil and corn flour and mix well
Spray a wok or frying pan with Fry Light, then add the garlic and the pork (reserve the marinade) Stir fry for 2-3 mins.
Add the pineapple and juice, 2/3 of the spring onion and dark soy and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
When the pork is cooked, add the rest of the spring onions and chopped coriander.
 
Serve with egg fried rice
